Creating a Messaging Appointment

If you want to have an appointment through Messaging, you can create an appointment type from Calendar. Here’s how:
Select “Appointment Types” from the top right of Calendar:
Push the “Add Type” button to create a Messaging appointment:
From the dropdown area under “Mode”, select “Messaging”:
Go ahead and complete the rest of the appointment type information on the form, then push “Save” when you’re done.
You’ll be sent back to the Appointment Types page, where you will see your new Messaging Appointment type listed:
To Schedule A Messaging Appointment
From the Calendar, you can schedule a Messaging Appointment by choosing the “Add Appointment” button at the top right:
Complete the appointment information, and choose the Messaging appointment type under the Appointment Type category:
Don’t forget to push Save! Then you’ll see your Messaging appointment scheduled on the Calendar:
Your Messaging type appointment will also now be available on your Online Scheduling area, for clients to choose:
